the guidelines and rules set forth on this page.
The Protel EDA Forum
Chances are this is the forum that will interest you most. It's a
technical forum where the discussions are restricted to Protel
software, related EDA software, and design techniques.
Any other topic of discussion is not appropriate and is not permitted
on this forum. If you're not sure that your posting would fit within
the guidelines, then it probably should be posted in the Open Topic
Forum. If you're still not sure, submit it to ForumAdministrator@TechServInc.com
for approval before posting.
The Protel Developers Forum
This is also a technical forum. This forum
is much smaller and the posts are less frequent than others, but the information
available here is invaluable for anyone developing 3rd party add-ons or
scripting a productivity booster. Topics on this forum are restricted to
programming and scripting with an emphasis on...
- Creating Macros and Scripts
- Creating Wizards
- Creating Servers and Utilities
- Undocumented API Functions and Parameters
- Programming Around Client Bugs
- Interfacing with Protel File Formats
- Pros and Cons of Delphi & C++
- And more related topics...
The Open Topic
Forum
This is an unstructured forum. Topics for
discussion on this list have fewer restrictions than the other lists
which are hosted here. If your discussion
doesn't fit within the limitations of the other forums, then this is
probably
the place for it.
A few examples of past threads that would be appropriate
in the Open Topic Forum; operating systems pros & cons, virus alerts, debates
about the direction of the next software release, upcoming trade
shows and industry events, mergers and buyouts of EDA companies, or
even comments about the forums themselves or these web pages.
Advertising
Limited
paid advertising is available to vendors of EDA related products. See the Forum Advertising page for
details on placing an advertisement.
